Reference service is available at all branches of the Mahoning County public library system. The Information Services Department at Main Library serves as the resource library for all branches and has the most extensive collection of non-circulating reference materials in the widest variety of formats in the library system.

Call the Reference Desk  

Librarians throughout the library system provide reference service via the phone.  Call 330-744-8636 and ask for Reference for librarian assistance or Information Services to reach the Main Library reference desk. You can also fax questions to the library at 330-744-3355.

Patrons are able to E-mail a Librarian in our Information Services Department and receive answers to your questions within two business days.
