Online Juvenile Summer Reading Registration
Receive a coupon for a FREE ice cream cone from Dairy Queen and a Mahoning Valley Scrappers game voucher just for signing up!
For the first 4 hours read, you’ll receive a paperback book (choose from available titles).*
For the first 8 hours read, you’ll receive a library lunch bag* (pre - gr. 3) or a back pack* (gr. 4-6). You’ll also get one FREE admission ticket to OH WOW! The Roger & Gloria Jones Children’s Center for Science & Technology.
For the first 12 hours read, you’ll earn a chance to win a LeapFrog Letter Factory or your choice of a magazine subscription (pre- gr. 3). Kids in grades 4-6 earn a chance to win an iPod Shuffle.
For 30 hours read, you’ll also qualify for an invitation to the “Bad Kitty Breakfast Bash,” a breakfast with Nick Bruel, author of the Bad Kitty books, to be held at Poland Library on July 30. This special breakfast bash, catered by Kravitz Deli, is only available to Summer Reading participants who complete their 30 hours by July 29. Don’t miss out!

Online Baby/Toddler Summer Reading Registration
It’s never too early to read to your baby! Parents can learn early literacy techniques and little ones can earn a book, a Library insulated lunch bag, and a chance to win a subscription to Babybug magazine.

Online Teen Summer Reading Registration
Register in person or online; visit us in person to receive a Scrappers game voucher and a coupon as well as an entry into a drawing for movie passes.
For 12 hours read – get an entry to win a Nook HD, a Kindle Fire HD, an iPod Nano, a PSP, or a gift card.
For 30 hours or more – get an entry to win an iPad mini, an iPod Touch or a Wii U!
Pandemonium Party! – Party like a Downworlder at our MORTAL INSTRUMENTS-inspired extravaganza, based on the novels by Cassandra Clare. Enjoy food, crafts, games and music by a live DJ. Dress as your favorite supernatural being, and you might even win our costume contest! Door prizes will include passes for the upcoming movie, “The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones,” in theaters August 23. For teens in grades 7-12.
