Summer is finally here! To kick it off, we are happy to announce that we are now offering access to ABCmouse at home. This includes unlimited access to the same full version of ABCmouse Early Learning Academy that we offer onsite in our library branches or that consumers subscribe to on their own for remote access, which adds up to big savings for parents!
Accessed remotely through our library website with a PLYMC library card, parents can go to our Online Resources page or our A-Z resources list and click on ABCmouse (Home use). Here they can sign up for a free account, which can be shared by up to three children in the same household. Each child is able to have their own avatar, profile, and progress-tracking.
For those who are unfamiliar with ABCmouse, this multi award-winning platform offers a comprehensive curriculum available for children ages 2-8 with over 10,000 learning activities, more than 1,200 of which are in Spanish. Including the subjects of math, science, reading, language arts, social studies, and music, ABCmouse was designed to prepare children for Kindergarten and ensure third-grade readiness. With its safe, ad-free, and engaging platform, ABCmouse provides great educational entertainment with its many games, STEM activities, puzzles, art activities and more.
