Hello, Ohioans of Mahoning County!
As we begin a new year, our hearts and hands are filled with opportunities to learn about and celebrate our heritage, both as citizens of a Nation and here in the great state of Ohio. In an October blog, we introduced America 250-Ohio, which will provide events and celebrations in our run up to the 250th anniversary of the United States of America in 2026. Here at The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County, we have been preparing! To kick off the year, we have established wonderful community partnerships and have scheduled the following events in January and February:

Calling all student researchers! Come to the Event Space and discover the resources that are available to you through the library's print and electronic collections. This is the perfect way to begin preparing for the Region 4 History Day.
