Happy 2025! With a new year upon us, it’s a great time to learn something new. The library has just the resource to fit every schedule – LinkedIn Learning, opens a new window!
Overview
LinkedIn Learning is an online educational platform with videos covering the latest business, technology and creative skills. Discover thousands of videos led by industry experts and receive personalized recommendations based on your experience.
You can learn something quick by watching a brief video or spend more time by taking an entire online class. You can even follow a "Learning Path" where you view a series of related videos and courses to help you achieve a particular goal.
LinkedIn Learning organizes content into three categories:
- Business – anything and everything business-related, from managing, marketing and running a business to skills applicable to all employees and job seekers
- Technology – from basic computer classes through advanced coding
- Creative – find all types of arts and crafts, from painting and drawing to music lessons to graphic design
Plus, you can watch the courses on your schedule! As long as you have a PLYMC library card and access to the internet, you can access LinkedIn Learning any time – day or night, 24/7.
