Summer Discovery, PLYMC's summer reading and learning program, is well underway and the library has a new resource for everyone to discover: America’s News, opens a new window. Summer Discovery challenges participants to learn something new every day and America's News makes that goal easy to achieve! After all, "new" is part of the word "news".
America’s News by NewsBank, opens a new window is found linked on the News, opens a new window resources webpage. It is great for learning about current events and reading entire issues of many Ohio newspapers. Along with current issues, many of the newspapers have past issues to read as well. Readers can enjoy discovering, reading and learning about past news stories and events that made it into various newspapers; thus, making this a wonderful resource for both genealogists and historians!
America's News has fully digitized versions of many Ohio newspapers including:

- Canton Repository 2018-present
