Certified copies of Mahoning County marriage licenses are available at select PLYMC branches. Copies can also be requested by U.S. Mail from the Probate Court.

Fee: $3.50 (payment is by cash only)
Required information: Names of both parties (maiden name if applicable), date of the marriage and the number of copies requested.
Certified copies may be requested in person, by phone at 330-744-8636, or online at reference@libraryvisit.org. Please call before coming in person as only select staff are deputized to provide this service and availability will vary. Copies certified by library staff may be delivered to any library branch for customer pickup, but mailed copies must be requested from the court.
Residents of Mahoning County can also obtain a marriage license through the Mahoning County Probate Court through the following ways:
- Visit the Mahoning County Probate Court website.
- Mail a request to the Mahoning County Probate Court, Attn: Marriage License Dept., 120 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44503.
- Visit the Mahoning County Probate Court, 120 Market St., Youngstown, Ohio 44503 and purchase your marriage record in person.
