Shark Week is underway! Originating from the Discovery Channel on July 17, 1988, Shark Week is a week-long event that highlights information and awareness about sharks including some common misconceptions about them. Shark Week is usually featured in either July or August, and has grown in popularity throughout the years. This year, it is officially July 7-13 and will be hosted by John Cena on the Discovery Channel.
To celebrate all things shark, we're hosting several shark themed programs and activities beginning July 15. Take a virtual tour with The Greater Cleveland Aquarium, make shark slime, hear shark stories and more! Plus, you'll have the chance to win prizes and take shark selfies at select PLYMC locations.
