YOUNGSTOWN—Main Library, 305 Wick Ave., Youngstown, will close to the public at 1 pm on Thursday, October 20, to prepare for The Literary Society’s Evening with New York Times Best-Selling Author Elin Hilderbrand, which is now sold out. Known for her Nantucket-centered beach reads, Hilderbrand will visit the Library to discuss her latest novel, The Hotel Nantucket.

The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) has served the Mahoning Valley since 1880 when the Youngstown Library Association was officially created.
