The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) invites community members to learn more about planned exterior improvements to the East Branch Library. A public meeting will be held on Tuesday, March 25, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at East Branch Library, 430 Early Rd., Youngstown. Aimee Fifarek, PLYMC Director and CEO, and Jordan Shaver, Chief Operating Officer will share with the public an overview and scope of the project.

Over the last few months, PLYMC conducted a comprehensive study that identified some much needed improvements to the roof, siding and grounds surrounding the branch. As part of our continued effort to provide top notch resources to everyone, PLYMC is investing in critical facility upgrades in the most cost-effective way to serve the community for years to come.

Community members are encouraged to attend and learn more about how these improvements will enhance the East Branch Library’s role as a valuable resource for Youngstown families.
