The Public Library of Youngstown and Mahoning County (PLYMC) thanks the voters of Mahoning County for supporting Issue 2, the Public Library Renewal Levy

PLYMC thanks the voters of Mahoning County for continuing to support their Public Library by supporting Mahoning County Issue 2, the Library Renewal Levy. This victory allows the Library to continue literacy programs, workforce development and job training work, programs for seniors, and the many other ways that PLYMC supports the community through work that we love. The Library takes great pride in the support of the people in the Valley, regardless of location, income, and political persuasion. The doors remain open, the lights remain on, and the pages continue to turn.

Aimee Fifarek, Director and CEO of PLYMC said, “I want to thank the voters, our Board of Trustees, our wonderful and dedicated staff, community leaders who have come together to make this victory for the Valley possible, and all of our library customers who rely upon us every day, as we continue to evolve with the needs of the community.
